Andrzej Sikorowski

Kraków civilian by birth and by choice, he graduated in Polish philology at the Jagiellonian University. In 1970 he won the Student Song Festival in Kraków. Songwriter and composer. Creator of the well-known musical group "Pod Budą" (it is also worth mentioning another great singer that performed in the group – Anna Treter). Currently, he frequently performs and sometimes with his very talented daughter Maja, who continues the family's tradition, or with another great musician from Kraków - Grzegorz Turnau.

Author of such famous songs as "Nie przenoście nam stolicy do Krakowa", "Bardzo smutna piosenka retro", "Gdy mnie kochać przestaniesz", "Blues o starych sąsiadach", "Ale to już było", "Cha-cha dla Ani Dymnej", "Jeść, pić, kochać" and many others.

As a songwriter he collaborated with many well-known artists: Maryla Rodowicz, Irena Santor, Krystyna Prońko, Zbigniew Wodecki, Jacek Wójcicki.
